I do not recommend it
My dogs would drink a whole bowl of water each a day, after following the instructions carefully, the dogs put their tongue in once and then coughed and walked away, leaving them not drinking any water for the day. After trying again the next day with a fresh bowl of water and less than recommend they sniffed the water and walked away. After try several days with and without, everytime it was added they never drank the water. So unfortunately the product may work but the dogs will refuse to drink when it's added.
