Actually it was easy to put on and has a few velcro tabs which hold it securely in place. There are a few breather holes which don’t let the rain in. We have used it many times walking in heavy rain and our puppy adores riding high in the dry. Thoroughly recommend.

It was a little too small for the Retro Luxe pram that I purchased it for and it’s little difficult to get on.
